3. Meet & Greet with JBR:
– To build your dream home the fit must be right like any other relationship. At this meeting we want to get to know you and your style. To be equipped to build your home we need to understand your likes, dislikes, must haves and overall needs. Once everyone is comfortable we start discussing floor plans and site plans. At the end of this meeting contracts and building expectations (timeframe) are discussed.
4. Contracts:
– once we receive the contacts your journey begins
5. Design meeting:
– Finalize selections, options and upgrades. This is where the customization begins. You will choose cabinets, granite countertops, backsplash, tile, flooring and paint colors. We will meet and work with you to ensure you are happy with your selections. The best part is we have taken the work out of this process. You simply choose from our samples. We have many options and know that we will find what fits for you and your family.
6. Framing Walk Thru:
– We will meet at your new home to focus on functionality; specifically on how the floor plan will function for you and your family. At this time the kitchen and bathrooms layouts will be discussed. You will also decide the location of electrical outlets, cable outlets, and phone jacks. The point of this meeting is to ensure comfort in the floor plan you selected. We want you to leave excited knowing that you will soon be comfortable in your new home!
7. Interior Trim:
– Finalize fixtures (lighting & hardware) and trim out. Here is what we mean by details. This is where we meet to make the final decisions to customize your home! Once again we will provide samples and pictures to make this process as easy as possible. At this meeting you will decide on lighting, hardware, interior trim (baseboards, crown molding, bookcases/built-ins) and fireplace design.
8. Exterior trim:
– Finalize exterior selections. Once again it’s all about details to make your house a home. You now decide the details that give the first impression. We want your home to welcome and invite your family and friends in and match the quality and design of your interior. We will confirm color selections (brick, siding or stone), garage door style, concrete layout (driveway, walkways & patios) and landscape!
9. Orientation:
– We meet on site before closing to discuss function and answer any questions about the systems of your home. Here we do a pre close walk (final punch list) to ensure everything is completed before you get your keys at closing. We also provide detailed lists with all your design selections and how to care for your home!
10. Closing:
Congratulations you are now the owner of a beautiful custom home that suits you and your family! We enjoy working with each and every client in making a house their home.
